Description: Point locations representing City-assessed Code Enforcement fees for properties within the City of Independence, Missouri. Each point represents a single special assessment case, including accrued interest calculated every 14 days. The feature layer provides a case-level spatial representation of City-assessed Code Enforcement fees and interest for operational awareness and public-facing inquiry tools. Layer attributes are derived from the City's asset and work management system that is joined with parcel polygons via script. The feature class is used in a public web application for searching properties for any Special Assessments incurred on a property. The feature class is updated twice every day. The feature class reflects fees accrued for code violations on a 2 week(14-day) interest.This layer contains point features representing individual City-assessed special assessments issued by the City of Independence Code Enforcement team of the Community Development Department.
